How to Use Coco Coir Seed Starter Pots
- Select Your Seeds : Choose the seeds you want to germinate. Ensure they are suitable for the current season and climate.
- Fill the Pots : Fill each coco coir seed starter pot with a high-quality seed starting mix or potting soil. Leave about half an inch of space at the top.
- Plant the Seeds : Plant your seeds according to the recommended depth and spacing for each type of plant. Generally, plant the seeds two to three times deeper than their diameter.
- Water Gently : Water the pots lightly after planting to ensure the soil is adequately moist. Use a misting spray or a gentle shower from a watering can.
- Provide Ideal Conditions : Place the pots in a warm, well-lit area to encourage germination. Maintain consistent moisture and temperature as per the requirements of your specific seeds.
- Transplant Seedlings :Once your seedlings have grown strong enough (usually with a couple of true leaves), you can transplant them along with the coco coir pots directly into your garden or larger containers. The biodegradable pots will naturally break down in the soil, minimizing transplant shock.
